Whitney La'Joi
Taylor
Sep 8, 1990 — Feb 12, 2026
Gulfport
On February 12, 2026, our hearts were filled with profound sorrow as we said goodbye to our beloved Whitney La'Joi Taylor. Born on September 8, 1990, in Gulfport, Mississippi, to Fredrick Thomas and Hope Taylor, Whitney was a radiant light from the very beginning.
Whitney was a devoted mother, cherished daughter, and loyal friend whose warm spirit and beautiful smile could brighten any room. She had a remarkable gift for uplifting others through her kindness, humor, and vibrant personality.
A proud graduate of Gulfport High School, Class of 2009, Whitney continued her studies at the University of Southern Mississippi with ambition and determination. She later served as a dedicated cocktail waitress at Scarlet Pearl Casino, where her compassion and genuine nature left a lasting impression on both guests and colleagues.
Whitney had a deep love for fashion and carried herself with confidence, creativity, and elegance. Her sense of style was simply a reflection of the vibrant woman she was.
Above all, Whitney was a devoted and loving mother to her three precious children: Xaden (10), Xane (8), and Xamir (5), who were the very center of her world. She poured her heart into motherhood, and her legacy will forever live on through their smiles, their laughter, and the love she instilled in their hearts.
