Ms. Wenona Alice Maud Bean Burton, 88 of Biloxi, Mississippi passed August 29th, 2020. She grew up in Bailey's Bay Bermuda and attended Blythe Dale Academy, Temperance Hall, and Harrington Sound Elementary Schools as well as the Girl's Institute of Arts and Crafts in the City of Hamilton.

She married a U.S. Airman and emigrated to the United States in 1957.

In later years she obtained her GED Certificate and also received her certification as a Surgical Technician. She assisted the elderly and handicapped persons as a Private Home Assistant.

She enjoyed poetry as she wrote and recited poems.  She was often known to participate in Spoken Word events along the coast. Ms. Burton will be remember by her sweet spirit and how she loved her family and friends.

Ms. Burton is preceded in death by her parents, Clarence Fraser Bean, Erminie Prescott Wilkinson Bean; a brother, Coleridge "Beanie" Bean; and one sister, Alice Gibbons.

Ms. Burton leaves to cherish her memory two sons, Areleous (Diep) Burton, Andrew Miles Burton; two daughters, Roberta Cruz, Allison (Romales) Bowens; one brother Burt (Dora) Bean; two sisters, Iris Nolly, Neenee Bean; 7 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren and many relatives and friends.
