Mrs. Sudie Mae Hinton was born January 30, 1938 in Kosciusko, MS to the late Robert and Lola Lee. She departed this life on November 14, 2024 at the age of 86.

She was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Lola Lee. One sister; Mary Francis Brooks, three brothers; Robert Levon Lee, Hiley Lee, and Maceo Lee.

She is survived by two daughters. Theresa (Henry) Johnson, and Linda (Charles) Sims. Two sisters; Lora Dawson of Kosciusko, MS and Lesa Lee of Gulfport, MS. One brother; Percy Lee of Gulfport, MS. A loving sister-in-law; Mrs. Lillie Walker. Eight grandchildren: Michael Ward, David Ward, Nicholas Ward, Louis (Andrea) Ward, Jeremy Anderson, Mark (Angela) Hinton, Robbie (Lerice) Hinton, and Yvette Hinton. Seventeen great grandchildren, Seven great great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Mrs. Sudie loved cooking and sharing interesting memories of her life with family and friends. She worked until her health failed. She read her Bible and she was adamant to continue her studies every Thursday afternoon.
