Stacey
Browne
Sep 25, 1955 — Aug 12, 2022
Gulfport
Stacey Browne was born on September 25, 1955, to the late Cleveland Wells, Sr., and the late Annie Bell Wells.
Stacey was a bubbly fun-loving person. She was one who never met a stranger. She loved people and most importantly helping people. Stacey would give her last to help someone including opening her home to anyone who needed shelter. She will always be remembered as someone who loved so selflessly and who kept a smile on her face regardless of what she was faced with.
Stacey worked in the restaurant business for many years and loved every minute of it, even when faced with disrespect, she was known to "kill them with kindness". Stacey's greatest pride and joy was her children, grandchildren and great- grandchildren. She made it her business to let each of then know how proud she was of them. Stacey kept a quote to keep her family motivated. One of her most common reminders to her children was to keep standing on your own two feet because "They see your Glory, but they don't know your Story"! Stacey will be greatly missed, but her family finds comfort in knowing that she is resting in the arms of the Lord and their broken chain will link again one day.
Stacey is proceeded in death by her parents, Cleveland Wells, Sr., and Annie Bell Wells; two sisters, Linda Wells, Judy Ashley and one brother, Roland Wells.
She leaves to cherish her memories: her four daughters, DaMica Wells of Gulfport, MS, Paula Browne of Gulfport, MS, Ericka Browne of Saucier, MS, Robin Browne of Atlanta, GA; her two sons, Warren (Angela) Wells of Gulfport, MS and Robert Browne of Gulfport, MS; four sisters, Tammy Benson, Eva Wells, Joyce Wells and Alice Bailey; one brother, Cleveland Wells, Jr.; seventeen doting grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, and host of relatives and friends.
