Shelia McCann was born on November 15, 1966, in Hattiesburg, MS, to the late Iola McCann and Kernevis Chambers. She spent her entire life
in Wiggins, MS. Shelia received her education at Stone High School at the age of 17 with the class of 1983. She accepted Christ and joined
the fellowship of Faith Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church in Wiggins, MS.Shelia retired as a caregiver. In retirement,
she found great joy in being the treasurer for the Stone County basketball booster club, substitute teaching and spending time with her family and
friends.

Shelia peacefully departed this life on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at Memorial Hospital
in Biloxi, MS.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Iola McCann and Kernevis Chambers.

Shelia leaves to cherish her loving memories her daughter, Charnessa Hartfield of Wiggins, MS; her grandchildren, Ja'Niah, Justin, and Jayce of Wiggins, MS; her brothers, Schaeffer McCann of Wiggins, MS, and Jewuan (Grace) McCann of Louin, MS; her sisters, Latrice Fairley, Evelyn
Sledge -Johnson both of Wiggins, MS, Sheneda Williams of Shreveport, LA; two special aunts, Edna McCann and Vera Chambers, both of Wiggins, MS; a special uncle, Tim McCann of Wiggins, MS; and a special friend, Ann King of Wiggins, MS, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
