Mrs. Sandra D. Lewis, 51, of Gulfport, Mississippi, departed this life, Sunday, January 6, 2019. Sandra was a life long resident of the Mississippi Gulf Coast. She was a member of Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church and a 1985 graduate of Harrison Central High School. Sandra is remembered as being a lady who loved interior design and one who was very fashionable. Her heart, compassion and genuine care for others placed her in a "league" of her own, with those she knew. Sandra's overall beauty and light will be missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jame E. Day, Sr., Margaret L. Douglas Day; two brothers, Rev. James Day, Jr., Michael B. Day, and one sister, Tiffany Day.

Sandra leaves to cherish her loving memory, to her spouse, Thomas W. Lewis, Gulfport, Mississippi; one sister, Linda Washington, Illinois; 2 nieces, Essie Searcy, Illinois, Daphne Harvey, Alabama; a great neice, Emoni Ruffin, Illinois; five nephews, John (Veronica) Epting, Michael Smith, Jeremiah Jefferson, Zyclassiton James Day, Zaclassiton James Day, all of Mississippi and a host of family members and friends.
