Mr. Ryan LaShawn Stewart, 37, of Ocean Springs departed this life on Friday, September 14, 2018. Ryan was a lifelong Mississippi Gulf Coast resident, and a member of Goodwill Missionary Baptist Church, Pass Christian, and a graduate of the Class of 1999, at Pass Christian High School. After high school, Ryan enrolled and obtained an Associate's Degree from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. He worked for the City of Biloxi for several years as a Life Guard, Swimming and Water Safety Instructor. Additionally, Ryan provided United States Navy Seals with required swimming knowledge and skill sets. As a man of many gifts and talents, he later made the decision to enroll at Blue Cliff College, Gulfport, to become a certified Cosmetologist and he did just that, graduating in 2018. Ryan was full of life and enjoyed traveling and loved his family dearly. He will be missed by all who knew him.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Keamber (Kim) Stewart, Ocean Springs; his parents, Portia & Robert Stewart, both of Long Beach; his son, Tristan M. Stewart, Ocean Springs; two sisters, Chantel (Danny) Hawkins, Pass Christian, Nikita Stewart; one brother Robyn Stewart, both of Long Beach; a sister-in-law, Terretta (Michael) Brennan, Ocean Springs; two brothers-in-law, Jason (Sarah) Mentore, Lincoln, NE, Demontra (Sisly) Rainey, Spring, TX; a mother-in-law, Sarah Mentore; a father-in-law, Terry Mentore, both of Vancleave; a Godmother, Dr. Roslynn Webb; a Godfather, Fielding Wilson, Dallas, TX, and a host of extended family and friends.
