Ms. Rosie Merle Brown was born September 06, 1954 to Robert L. Brown and Rosie M. Pickering in Taylorsville, MS. She later moved and became a long time resident of Gulfport, MS in the mid 1970's. At the end of 2016 she moved out of state with her daughter, Ashley lastly residing in Tampa, FL and from there she was called home to be with our lord and savior.

Rosemary attended St. Paul A.M.E church in Gulfport, MS. She retired from Memorial Hospital after over 30 yrs of service as the food nutrition  supervisor. She enjoyed cooking, and most of all going to bingo. She also loved hanging out with her friends at Holders Lounge listening to her blues, as well as sitting on the porch drinking her coffee and reading the paper every morning, visiting Mama V.J, spending holidays with family in Delisle, watching football, and going to the casino. She was well known by so many and never met a stranger. A wonderful person and mother inside and out.

She was proceeded in death by her father     and mother, Robert L. Brown and Rosa M. Pickering, her son Richard O. Brown, and three brothers.

She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter Ashley Swanier of Tampa, FL. One sister Laura Williams of Taylorsville, MS. Seven grandchildren, two great grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews, bonus families and friends.
