Rosetta
Flowers
Nov 1, 1944 — Jul 2, 2021
Gulfport
Rosetta Flowers, 76 , of Gulfport, Mississippi was born November 1, 1944, in Benndale, Mississippi as one of nine children. Rosetta departed this earthly life Friday, July 2, 2021.
Uniquely created and specially designed- Rosetta was such a loving lady. She never forfeited the opportunity to have a good time. Born in South Mississippi and reared in the Methodist faith, Rosetta was a life long resident of the Mississippi Gulf Coast. She was a member of Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church, located in the Turkey Creek Community.
Rosetta was such a fun, loving, and outgoing lady. She enjoyed conversing with people and learning different things about them. For those who knew her knew that Rosetta enjoyed dressing nicely and presenting herself in tip top fashion. One of the most memorable things about Rosetta is that she was always present in the moment. She developed a strong passion for anything that she partook in. The family laughs as they suggest that this may very well be where her stubbornness comes from.
Rosetta's zest for life, love of music, her culinary skills, love for her family, and her joyous laughter are all the makings of a beautiful lady. There is no denying that Rosetta was a very unique lady and that uniqueness brought so much joy and laughter into the lives of her family. She will be dearly missed , but her family is comforted in knowing that she lived a full life and that life was beautiful.
Rosetta is preceded in death by her mother, Ruth Fairley; a son, Henry Flowers, Jr.; and a daughter, Donna Marie Flowers.
She is survived by her husband, Mr. Henry Flowers; two sons, Christopher Flowers, Gaylyn Flowers; a daughter, Apryl Flowers; eight brothers and sisters; 11 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
