Miss Rosalind Michelle Smith was born, February 22, 1965 to the late B.P. and Ella M. Smith in Gulfport, Mississippi. She attended schools in the county and graduated from Harrison Central High School. After graduation she attended Jefferson Davis Junior College and majored in business. After graduation her employment included working for UPS, Regina and Primerica. Rosalind was baptized at Greater Mt. Olive Baptist Church under the pastor age of the mate Dr. Nathan Walker, Jr.  She continued to attend church as much as possible until her health began to fail, under the leadership of Dr. Phillip McSwain, Sr.

Miss Rosalind Smith was proceeded in death by her parents, B.P. and Ella M. and one brother, Dennis Smith.

Miss Rosalind Smith departed this life in December 17, 2019, at Memorial Hospital. She leaves to cherish her loving memories nine sisters, Mrs. Dora Jones, Mrs. Genevia Harvey, Mrs. Mary (Leon) Johnson, Mrs. Clementine Woods, Mrs. Celestine (Melvin) Keys, Miss Loretta Smith and Miss Vanessa Smith all of Gulfport, Mississippi; Mrs. Linda (Joseph) Phillips of Lucedale, Mississippi and Miss Keana Smith of Huntsville, Alabama. Two brothers; Mr. Charles (Arlene) Smith and Mr. Tommie L. Smith both of Gulfport, Mississippi. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, godchildren and other relatives and friends.
