Roni was born April 22, 1960, in Gulfport, MS to Ronald and Laura Mimms. Roni was very witty and possessed a strong sense of humor. She enjoyed reading, working with children,
and working with non-profit organizations for the betterment of those less fortunate. Roni
is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Joseph E. Jones, Sr; her son, Joseph E. Jones, Jr.; her daughter, Cassandra; her grandson, Jordan; two sisters, Carla and Andraya; a brother, Derrick; nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
