Robert Domio,
Jr.
Apr 4, 1964 — Jun 2, 2021
Gulfport
I watched a sail until it dropped from sight
Over the rounding sea- a gleam of light
A last, far- flashed farewell, and like a thought
Slip out of mind, it vanished and was not.
Yet, to the helmsman standing at the wheel
Broad seas still swept beneath the gliding reels
Disaster? Change? He left no slightest sign,
Nor dreamed he of that dim horizon line.
So may it be, perchance, when down the tide
Our dear love one vanish. Peacefully he glide
On level seas, nor mark the unknown bound
We call it death- to him tis life beyond.
Man that is born of a woman is of few days, and full of trouble. Job 14:1
