Richard Brown, age 49, loving father and grandfather, adoring husband to wife Tyhiriah Azalea Brown, passed away in the evening hours on the 1st of November after courageously fighting to receive a new heart amongst other medical issues at Oschner Hospital in New Orleans.

Richard was born on July 24, 1973 in Gulfport Mississippi and grew up with his mother (Rosie Brown) and sister (Ashley Swanier). He graduated from Gulfport High School and is also a graduate of Mary Holmes College where he received a bachelor's degree in Psychology. He was an electrician and a well known security guard at multiple locations on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.

Richard has a loving family...Mother - Rosie Brown, Grandmother - Rosie Pickering, Grandfather- Robert Lee Brown, Sister - Ashley Swanier, Aunt - Laura Brown 3 Uncles - Jerry Brown, Perry Brown and Junior Brown; Eight beautiful children, Kamirah Brown, Ayeshia Caldwell, Qyeshia (Nyla) Caldwell, Treshon Reddix, Orlando Brown, Kaleb Ellis, Tyree Brown, Miracle Brown and
6 grandchildren, Keonna Jones, DJ Jones, Kamyra Jones, Dontay Jones, Amari Caldwell and Kingston Fortenberry.

He loved spending time with his family, traveling, shooting pool, wrestling, working out and exploring new foods. He was loved by many and always found a way to make a new friend anywhere he went. He was a loving man and will be deeply missed.
