Mr. Ray Valentino Collier, 61, of Gulfport, Mississippi, departed this life on Wednesday, December 17, 2018. He was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, where he served on the Parish Council. Mr. Collier graduated from Gulfport High School and completed his undergraduate work at Tennessee State University. Upon completion of his Bachelor's Degree, he obtained a graduate degree from Howard University, Washington, D.C. Mr. Collier worked as a Psychologist for many years at Gulf Coast Psychotherapy. He enjoyed traveling abroad and being involved in the community. Spending time with children, brought Mr. Collier great joy, more specifically, his nieces and nephews. He lived a life dedicated to the betterment of others and his community. Mr. Collier will be missed dearly by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by both parents, Mrs. Ernestine Jackson Collier and Mr. Varnado Ralph Collier.

He leaves to cherish his memory, three brothers; a twin brother, Roy (Simone) Collier, Gulfport, MS, Anthony (Darlene) Morgan- Anchorage, AK, Gene White, Biloxi, MS; four sisters, Beverly Bean, Nashville, TN, Lorine (Greg) Wilson, Biloxi, MS, Darlene (George) Thadison, Gulfport, MS, Tammy White, Gulfport, MS and many nieces , nephews, relatives and friends.
