Raven Renee Holmes was born on August 7, 1995.

Raven graduated from Gulfport High School in 2013. Raven was very active in extracurricular activities and was a member of the Gulfport High School Symphonic and Marching Bands, Color Guard, National Honor Society, Health Occupations Students of America Spanish Honor Society and Allied Health Club to name a few. She was also a member of the following community clubs and church organizations, Young Democrats of America, Southeastern Law Explorer Academy, Pink Pearls Community Youth Service Group, Girl Scouts, Red Cross, and National Leadership Forum of Medicine. Raven also had a heart for volunteering as she was a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity, Goodwill and Nursing homes. She also enjoyed being a Praise Group Leader in church. Raven received a full scholarship to The University of Southern Mississippi where she attended. Raven decided to change her major while in college and decided to attend Chris's Beauty School in which she completed with a license in Cosmetology. Even though hair, makeup and fashion was her first love, Raven also decided to attend school for welding in which she also received a degree. With all the degrees she received she never lost her love for medicine and was aspiring to return to Nursing School.

Raven was quiet, but she had a big personality. She was always smiling. She expressed that fun-loving spirit in her fashion. She loved styling her hair in different styles and doing her makeup. Her family loved her style and individuality. When she wasn't enjoying fashion, she took time out to settle down and read a good book. Raven loved to feed her mind with knowledge so she could share with her children.

Raven loved her family, and she adored her children with every inch of her soul. She enjoyed spending time with her children and listening to music with them. Raven will be forever loved and missed by her family and all who knew her.

Raven leaves to cherish her memory her beautiful daughters, Reshya and Shariya Holmes; her loving father and mother, Ronmon Holmes Sr. and Reshawna Harvey; her sister, Simone Holmes; her brothers; Ronmon Holmes II, Raachard Holmes, Sean Holmes; her maternal grandparents, Glenda Crenshaw and Ray (Patricia) Harvey; her paternal grandparents, Pamela Holmes Bateaste , Ronald Williams and Lester Bateaste; her maternal great grandmother, Kennis Harvey; special aunts, Leslie Bateaste and Raysha Callahan; and two God-daughters, Sade and Shania Holloway. Raven also leaves behind a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and dear friends.
