Paul Louis Delille was born on January 5, 1949 in New Orleans, LA to the late Gladys Delille

Greenwood and Paul Hartman.  He departed this life on August 29, 2019 in Gulfport, MS.

He is proceeded in death by his son Paul Louis Delille, Jr. and his Godparents, Elliott and Myrtle Cambric.

Paul attended Xavier University Preparatory and after many years of service retired from Western Electric Telephone Company.

He enjoyed working with local historians to explore, discover and archive the Delille ancestry line.  He was a member of Our Mother Mercy Catholic Church, the 1812 Society of New Orleans and the Pass Christian Historic Society.  Paul worked tirelessly with the sisters of the Holy Family for the canonization of Henriette Delille.

All those who knew Paul could describe him as a colorful, opinionated, character.  He was a lifelong sports, domino and thoroughbred enthusiast.

Paul leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 29 years, Anna Delille, daughter Michele (Jim) Delille Lites (California), son Elliott Joseph Delille (New Orleans), and granddaughters Brandi, Dana, and Macy Lites.

Paul will be missed by many friends and family members.
