Pamela Verdelle
Ash
Nov 17, 1953 — Sep 18, 2024
Pamela "Pam" Verdell Ash was born in Albany, Georgia on November 17, 1953, to the union of the latte Benjamin and Anna-Louise Hart. At a young age, Pamela accepted Christ as the head of her life and lived a Christian lifestyle. Her zest and aspirations for life were her catalyst to move to California where she met and married the love of her life Hubert Ash of June 8, 1989. Their 35-year union was filled with love, and together they welcomed their beloved daughter, Marissa.
Pam graduated from Albany High School in 1971, and she went on to attend Savannah State College in Savannah, Ga. She worked in several job categories such as the restaurant business, Northrop, Kino, and Blackjack Dealer (Grand Casino Biloxi) and Baby-sitting. Oh, how she loved her babies! Everyone knew that Pam was an avid sports fan, loved Christian Tv, shopping and politics.
Pam was known for her exceptional eye for decoration, style, hospitality, and design. Her warmth and kindness were reflected not only in her vibrant color palettes, but also in the way she made everyone feel welcomed and cherished. Pamela Ash went home to eternal glory on September 18, 2024, peacefully at Diamondhead Woodland Village Nursing Home.
Pamela was preceded in death by her parents, her twin boys, and a sister.
The Lord blessed Pam with a large circle of family and friends to cherish her memory, including her husband, Hubert Ash, her one and only daughter, Marissa (Scott Sr.) Watkins; Three grandbabies, Addisen, Scotlyn, and Scott, Jr. Bonus children; Michael (Shalonda) Ash, Nina, and Amy; special daughter; Gina (Darin) and Paige (Michael); 11 bonus grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; siblings, Gwen (Marvin) Finley, Carol (Walter) Hart, Benjamin (Rita) Hart, LeRoyal (Pat) Hart; sisters and brothers-in-law, Mela, Phyllis and Calvin; a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Dear childhood friend, Alltimese, Pirate House Crew, Mr. Trub, Barbara, Tina B. Harris, Bernice, and Ollie; unique confidants, Denise, and Linda.
