Otis
Brumfield
Jan 18, 1950 — Apr 12, 2026
Otis "Broom" Brumfield, 76, of Pass Christian, passed away peacefully at his home on April 12, 2026. He was a cherished husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, cousin, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Otis dedicated over 30 years of service as a package driver with UPS, where he built lasting friendships and earned the respect of coworkers and customers alike through his strong work ethic and kind spirit.
He had a deep love for the outdoors and could often be found out on the water, enjoying fishing trips with family and friends in his boat. Otis was known for his generous heart—always willing to lend a helping hand—and his joyful personality that could keep anyone laughing for hours. He also enjoyed relaxing with a Budweiser in hand and cheering on his favorite team, the San Francisco 49ers, as a devoted lifelong fan.
Otis was preceded in death by his parents, Carrie Magee and J.W. Brumfield; his beloved son, Eric Brumfield, Sr.; daughter-in-law, Sandy Brumfield; brother, Daniel Magee; and sister, Josephine Brumfield.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving and devoted wife of 56 years, Stephanie Brown Brumfield; his daughter, Candace Bond of Georgia; his sons, Sean Brumfield of Pass Christian, MS and Broderick Williams of Texas; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Otis's legacy of love, laughter, and kindness will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
