Monica Lacy, a devoted mother, grandmother, and cherished member of her community, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family. Born to Clarence Brown and Linda Hobson, she was a proud graduate of Gulfport High School, class of 1984. Monica furthered her education at the Crescent School of Gaming, which led her to a fulfilling career at Harrah's Casino.

A former member of Greater Mount Olive Baptist Church, Monica's faith and love for her community were evident in all she did. She was the beloved wife of Michael Lacy and a devoted mother to her children, Michael Lacy Jr. and Milan Lacy. Monica's legacy also lives on through her three grandchildren, who were the joy of her life.

Monica will be remembered for her kindness, strength, and unwavering love for her family. She touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
