Obituary

Mildred "Jean" Evans, 70, was born September 27, 1950, in Newton, Mississippi, to Lonnie Evans and Dessie Ree Hardy Evans. She departed this life, Sunday, March 28, 2021.

Jean, as she was commonly acknowledged, was a lifelong Mississippi resident. She walked and lived in the light as a Jehovah's Witness. Jean loved Christ with her whole heart and was very devoted to her Bible studies. She gained employment as a Lab Technician where she worked for several years.

Jean was a lady of many gifts, talents, and trades and more admirably, she shared them with everyone that she met. With a love for cooking, gardening, reading, crafting, and fishing, Jean made sure that her contributions to her friends and family were limitless. These are the makings of a, "Virtuous Woman"!

"Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates.
~Proverbs 31:31~

Each experience and memory that Jean left behind, will forever be embedded in the hearts of her friends and family members, but what they will cherish the most is that she lived her life as a living example of what Jehovah requires of each of us... UNCONDITIONAL LOVE! With the loss of any loved one comes moments of sadness and even at times it causes pain, but her family rejoices because she has transitioned from labor to reward.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Timothy Davis; and a sister, Mary Jane Evans.

Jean leaves to cherish her life and memories her son, Rodney (Eugenia Evans)- Winchester, VA; her daughter, Terry Bunch- Riverdale, GA; a brother, Odell Evans; two sisters, Janice Evans and Patricia (Horace) Snoddy- all of Gulfport, MS; 6 grandchildren; 6 great- grandchildren; her best friend, Molly Hall; a family friend and best friend to Terry, Evangela Love and a host of other relatives and friends.

In consideration, the family of Ms. Mildred "Jean" Evans has provided virtual (Zoom) attendance. See link below:
