Marvin L.
Sprinkle
Sep 9, 1962 — Oct 21, 2019
Gulfport
Marvin Sprinkle was born September 9, 1962 in Gulfport, Mississippi. He attended Gulfport East High School where he became a welder. After high school, Marvin started working with Bond Paving in the early 80's and ended his employment with Bond Paving in the late 1990's. After which, Marvin began working for the City of Gulfport and remained employed with the city until 2007. Marvin was a hard worker.
Every morning, he would wake up and give thanks to God for allowing him to see another day. Marvin loved his family dearly and enjoyed babysitting his nieces and nephews. In his spare time, Marvin could be found hunting, fishing, and playing cards. A simple man with a simple life who simply brought pure joy to the lives of those who knew him.
Marvin will be missed dearly, but we rejoice in the assurance that to be absent from this body is to be present with the Lord.
He is proceeded in death by his father, Willie Lee Sprinkle, Sr., his mother, Carrie C. McCoy-Sprinkle, and a brother, Willie Lee Sprinkle, Jr.
Marvin leaves to cherish his memories three sisters, a twin sister, Marvie Christian, Dorothy Sprinkle-Tillman, Mary Ann Sprinkle; one brother, Tony Sprinkle; a special friend, Doris Thomas, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
