Ms. Mamie D. Williams, 96, of Gulfport departed this life onTuesday, October 2nd, 2018. Ms. Williams was a life long Coast resident and a member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, Gulfport. She worked for C&D Gumbo for many years. Ms. Williams served faithfully within her church and was a pillar of her community. She has touched the lives of so many and will be missed dearly by those who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dan Williams, Sr.; a son, Eugene Williams; her parents, Buddy Dorsey and Edna Hall Scott; two sisters, Almary Norris, Curtis Lee; three brothers, LeRoy Scott, Joseph Scott, L.C. Dorsey and a grandson, Darnell Williams.

She leaves to cherish her memory, two sons, Dan Williams, Jr., Carl Williams; five daughters, Dorothy Williams, Linda (Robert) White, Sandra Williams, Debra Williams, Brenda Williams; 19 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; 12 great-great grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends.
