Obituary

Linda Ann White, 72, was born September 8, 1949, to Mr. Dan Williams, Sr. and Mrs. Mamie Williams in Bayou Labatre, Alabama. January 20th, 2022, she entered, from labor to, rest.

Mrs. White was a lifelong Mississippi Gulf Coast resident and was a graduate of 33rd Avenue High School. She was a member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, Gulfport, under the leadership of Rev. Authur Burney. After her completion of high school, Mrs. White enrolled at Phillips Jr. College where she obtained an Associate's degree in Data Processing. Her career path eventually lead Mrs. White into the Gaming Industry, where she worked as a Dual Rate Supervisor until her retirement, from the Hard Rock Casino, in 2020. To know her was to love her.

Mrs. White was a fun, loving, and caring lady. A bit feisty at times, but that was a part of her personality that her friends grew to love about her. She was very outgoing and she loved to travel; one can bet that she never met a stranger along her travels. And while she enjoyed traveling when she could, nothing brought her more joy than being home with her family, especially her grandchildren, cooking an amazing meal... She NEVER shared her recipes! She was an AMAZING cook! Mrs. White's heavenly transition has left her family with a bit of sorrow, but they are encouraged to know that to be absent from this body is to be present with the Lord.

She was proceeded in death by her parents; one brother, Eugene Williams; and a sister, Dorothy Williams.
Mrs. White leaves to cherish her loving memories, her loving husband, Mr. Robert White; three children, Kelvin Williams (Quantella Lee)- Gulfport, MS, Brian White (Tara)- Wiggins, MS, Annaleisa (Chris) Ward- Tampa, FL; two brothers, Dan Williams and Carl Williams; three sisters, Sandra Williams, Debra Williams, and Brenda Williams; 10 grandchildren, La'Quisha, Kelvin, Jeremy, Shani, Lauren, Jaylen, Kason, Schae, Jaleah, and Tyson; 11 great grandchildren; a god granddaughter, Musiq; other relatives and friends.
