Leroy Nathaniel Johnson, Jr. was born June 3, 1957 to the late Mr. Leroy W. and Mrs. Catherine Johnson of Gulfport, MS.  He graduated from Gulfport East High School as a stand out basketball player in 1974 and went on to Mary Homes College.  On Saturday, July 9, 2022, in Gulfport, MS at the age of 65 God gave Leroy an eternal garden prepared just for him.

He was preceded in death by his father Leroy W. Johnson, his grandmothers Alvanell Johnson and Elizabeth McGowan.  Three brothers, Gregory A. Johnson, Howard N. Johnson and Anthony W. Johnson.

Mr. Johnson leaves to cherish his memory, his mother Catherine Johnson; one sister, Linda (Ray) Culbertson and three sons, Anthony (Kimberly) Herbert, Leroy N. Johnson and Joshua J. Johnson.  His devoted friend of over 40 years and mother of his three sons, Verlon Herbert, seven grand-children, three nieces, one nephew, five great-nieces and nephews and a host of relatives and friends.
