Leonard Montague, Jr. was born August 2, 1932, in Memphis, TN, to the late Leonard Montague Sr. and the late Lillie McKnight
Montague Paxton. After graduating high school, Leonard enlisted in the United States Air Force. He was an aircraft mechanic, something he took great pride in. He was also a 32 Degree Mason.

Leonard will be truly missed by his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents Leonard Montague Sr. and Lillie McKnight Montague Paxton. First Wife; Beatrice Faye Gregg Montague, of 22 years and Second Wife: Cleo Johnson Montague, of 3 years.

He is survived by his children, Linda Weathers, Melvin Montague; Kenneth Montague and daughter-in-law, Loleatha Montague; Lenda Montague Hall; seven grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren and other family and friends.
