Ms. Lauren Ann "Debbie" Lizaana, 59, of Pass Christian, Mississippi was born May 29, 1960, in Gulfport, Mississippi. She departed this earthly life Sunday, February 16, 2020.

Debbie was a lifelong resident of the Mississippi Gulf Coast. She attended Pass Christian High School and was a member of St. Stephens Catholic Church. Debbie, as her family would say, lived her life by the beat of her own drum. She enjoyed listing to some good ole "down home blues" and having a good time.

Debbie loved her family dearly. She did all that she could to extend the love that she shared with her family to others. Debbie possessed a kind heart, was loving and would do all that she could to help others, even if it meant giving her all. For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me... Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

Although Debbie is no longer with us physically, her spirit will live on with us always.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence T. Lizana and Levelia Thomas Lizana and one brother, Lawrence Lizana, Jr.
Debbie leaves to cherish her life and memory, a son, Keith Armond Smith- Seattle, Washington; two brothers, Samuel Thomas, Robert (Barbar) Lizana; six sisters, Thelma McClora, Luverna Cook, Mary Ann Williams, Loretta Lizana, Rita F. Lizana, Lena Lizana (Rovell Thomas) and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and lifelong friends. A special thanks is extended to the St. Joseph Hospice for the outstanding care and support that they extended to the entire family.
