Larry James Moffett, 64, of Gulfport, Mississippi born April 10, 1957, to Mr. Joseph Moffett and Ms. Gennie Crockett in Gulfport. Mr. Moffett departed this earthly life Saturday, April 24, 2021.

Larry was a lifelong resident of the Mississippi Gulf Coast. He was reared in the Baptist faith and was a member of Little Rock Missionary Baptist Church. Larry, as some would say, was a peculiar man. His straight forwardness was a very defining characteristic of his personality. There was never a wonder about how he felt. He said exactly what he meant. Larry was a man of great strength. He loved his family and he knew that they loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Jackie Moffett; a son, Damien Holmes; two brothers, Billy Moffett, Jeffery Moffett; two sisters, Lollie Ray, and Margaret Moffett.

He is survived by a son, Jeffery Moffett; two daughters, Alisha Moffett, Jessica Moffett; three brothers, Joel Moffett, James Moffett, Richard Moffett; two sisters, Beverly Doss, Linda Moffett, and a host grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
