Kianna Desiree
Pierre
Jan 18, 1996 — Dec 19, 2020
Pass Christian
On January 18, 1996, Loren Pierre and Stacie Dedeaux -Simmons welcomed two precious babies into the world. Kianna Desiree Pierre decided to let her big sis Keisha Dimera Pierre enter first. The girls were the cutest little set of twins. Stacie dressed her sweet girls in matching clothes until they were finally old enough to experiment and make a style of their own. Kianna grew up to be a gorgeous young lady with an inviting smile. She was a natural leader and affectionate caregiver. Kianna had goals and aspirations. With the full support of her twin sister, Keisha and their mother, Stacie, Kianna proudly graduated from Pass Christian High School in 2014. She then went on to attend and graduate from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College with an associate degree. She continued her pursuit of higher education. Through much perseverance Kianna was on track to obtaining her bachelor's degree in 2021.
Kianna loved children. She was a teacher at " A Place to Grow ", where her students, their parents, and all of her coworkers adored her. She was well prepared for this job because of her experience gained while working at the University of Southern Mississippi Childcare facility.
Kianna made the difficult decision to leave the home she's always known in Delisle, Mississippi in pursuit of a new life in Denver, C O . On the evening of December 19 , 2020, the world stopped when Kianna's mother found out that Kianna and her baby sister K ei rra were called home together to be with our Heavenly father.
Throughout our grieving process, we must lean on our Lord and Savior for strength and healing. Kianna is preceded in death by her biological father, Loren Pierre, her paternal grandfather Cornelius Pierre, her maternal grandfather Howard Hightower Jr . and her aunt Felicia Hightower.
She will forever be remembered by her adoring mother Stacie Dedeaux -Simmons (Edward) of Denver , CO and father, Paul Gates, Jr. of Memphis, TN, her twin sister and best friend , Keisha ( Aaric Kipp ) Pierre of Garden City, KN,; grandparents, Cynthia Hightower, of Delisle, MS, Leona Pierre, of Broussard, LA .
