Kenneth passed away on his own terms in his new home state of Delaware with his wife, Emily by his side. He was an extraordinary husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He bragged about being the youngest looking AND coolest G-Pop around.
His life started in his beloved community of North Gulfport with his older brother, Palmer Jr, where they grew up in a tight nit community of family, entrepreneurs, teachers, doctors, and community leaders.
Under the leadership of his parents, he valued business ownership, higher education, high intellect, and self-determination.
He went on to attend "Thee I Love" Jackson State University where he met his lifelong friends. After college, he began his journey teaching math and science at his alma mater, North Gulfport Elementary. During that time, he worked nights at Mary Mahoney's to sustain his "cosmopolitan" lifestyle, invest in businesses and care for his family.
After teaching, he began his extensive career in marketing and telecommunications. Even though he spent most of his time on the road, his love for North Gulfport and his family grew. He opened our community grocery store, in the legacy of his parents, to teach his children the importance of community, entrepreneurship and service.
He finally settled in Atlanta where he married Emily, raised his grandson, competed, and won the yard of the month several years, and spent his long Georgia days grilling his signature steaks and chicken.
After Atlanta, he traveled the world with his family. He loved the Caribbean, South Florida and anywhere with amazing restaurants, interesting people, and a cool breeze. Kenneth continues to inspire through his legacy of excellence, his one liners, great advice, cool vibes, and practical intellect.
Kenneth is preceded in death by his father, Palmer Williams, Sr.; his mother, Mary Lou Croutch Williams; his brother, Palmer Williams, Jr.; his son, Kevin Williams and his daughter, Noel P. Dawson; his uncle, Claude Croutch and a host of Elders, friends, and family members.
