Keith Anthony
Hawthorne
Dec 25, 1967 — Jul 19, 2021
Gulfport
Keith Anthony Hawthorne, 53, was born on December 25, 1967, to Mr. Nathaniel Hawthorne, Sr. and the late Louvina Saucier Hawthorne in Gulfport, Mississippi. He was a lifelong resident of the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Keith departed this life, Monday, July 19, 2021.
Keith was a graduate of Long Beach High School- Class of 1986. After graduating from high school, he enrolled at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College (MGCCC), West Harrison County Center, obtaining a trade in Auto Mechanics. Upon completion of the Auto Mechanic Program, Keith began working as a Chef at various casinos and restaurants until his retirement. Having been reared in the Baptist faith, Keith remained faithful to his Christian values. He was a member of Mount Pilgrim Baptist Church, Long Beach, Mississippi.
As evidence of his time in the culinary arts, Keith thoroughly enjoyed cooking. When he was not cooking, he loved looking, repairing, and talking about cars. These were two of his most enjoyable past times. Above all, Keith was a family man and there was no doubt that he loved his family, especially his grandchildren. The time and space that we, the family, have been privileged to spend with Keith have meant the world to us. It goes without saying that he will be missed dearly, but we are strengthened by the truth that there is a prepared place for a prepared people.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Louvina Saucier Hawthorne; a cousin (brother), Kalvin Hawthorne.
