Katherine C White was born on November 5, 1936, to the late Willie and Australia O'Neal in Saucier, MS.
She was a true woman of God, as she accepted Christ early and loved telling all she encountered about his goodness. She was a member of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church in Saucier, MS, under the leadership of many pastors before leaving and attending River of Life under the leadership of Apostle Ray Clute. She later returned to Shiloh and restored her membership with Rev. Dr. Van A. Bolden.
Katherine enjoyed going to garage sales, working, cooking, cleaning, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
On February 14, 1974, she began a new career with Garden Park Community Hospital, where she took a position working in environmental services for 30 years. After retiring from Garden Park, her love for cleaning continued, and she started her own cleaning business.
Katherine transitioned from this life to her eternal home on Saturday, January 13, 2024, at Singing River Hospital, formerly Garden Park, in Gulfport, MS, surrounded by her children, grandchildren, and her favorite niece.
