Obituary

It is with profound sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Julie Ann Dornier on June 25, 2026. Julie was born on May 15, 1964 and was a long time resident of Biloxi, Mississippi.

Julie was passionate about all sports and had a special place in her heart for the New Orleans Saints and Louisiana State University (LSU) Tigers. She was also quite the softy when it came to animals. From cats and dogs to raccoons and possums, she could never turn a blind eye to a creature in need. Julie's hobbies included watching sporting events of every kind, keeping up with the latest trends in electronics, and occasionally hitting the casinos to try her luck. She loved living by the beach and also spending time with friends and family.

She is survived by LaDonna P. Dornier, her loving wife of nearly 5 years and her partner for nearly 20 years. Julie is also survived by her sisters Cathy L. Dornier and Jeanine D. Romero, her brother-in-law, Eric Romero, niece, Alyssa Romero, and nephew, Ethan Romero. Julie was preceded in death by her father, Jules "Jay" A. Dornier III, and her mother, Patricia "Pat" K. Dornier.

In honor of Julie's life and non-religious beliefs, a celebration of life and memorial service will be held at Lockett Williams Mortuary, Inc, in Gulfport, Mississippi on Saturday, July 11th, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers or gifts, any donation to the Humane Society of South Mississippi (https://www.hssm.org/donate) in Julie's name would be greatly appreciated.
