On May 2, 2025, while sleeping peacefully God reached down from heaven and brought Joseph home for his eternal rest. Joseph Cyrus Nesbit was born on February 24, 1971, in Biloxi, MS.

Joseph was a lifelong resident of Gulfport, MS. Joseph Cyrus Nesbit affectionally known as" Lil Joe". Lil Joe worked for Circle K Gas Station, Piccadilly's, Flying J's, and Hard Rock Casinos. He built Mobile Homes and drove 18 wheelers across the Country. He built his life around his family. He loved entertaining and caring for his nephews' taking them to different places doing whatever it took to take care of them.

Joseph was preceded in death by his father Joseph Nesbit. He leaves a legacy of precious memories to his love ones. His mother Matilda Nesbit, two sisters Valarie Powell and Michelle Rogers all of Gulfport, MS. Three sons Roderick (Stacy) Walker and Jeremy (Shanika) Nesbit of Texas, Jamal Nesbit of Gulfport, MS. And a host of nephews, niece, grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
