Jameson Marko
Graham
Dec 8, 1957 — Sep 20, 2023
Jameson Marko Graham, of Gulfport, MS, passed peacefully on Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at 6:40am surrounded by loved ones at the age of 65. Mark, as he was known, was born in Malvern, AK on December 8th, 1957. He moved to Gulfport as a child and spent the entirety of his life living on the Coast. He was an avid fisherman and he loved the water. Mark was an integral part of his community, often assisting the elderly as well as the youth. He spent several years as a Central Elementary basketball coach and as an assistant karate instructor, where he was a friend and mentor to so many. Everyone knew he had a heart of gold. If he ever encountered a person in need, Mark wouldn't hesitate to lend a helping hand, to friends and strangers alike. He retired from Job Corps in "2000" after a long and enjoyable career.
Mark is survived by his mother Dorothy Slater of Gulfport, as well as, his wife of 47 years, Jeannie Graham, his son Eric Graham and his daughter Kari Parker Graham. He was a loving son, husband, father, and brother but shined in his greatest role as a grandfather. He will be immeasurably missed by his seven grandchildren Connor, Landon, Daniel, Ayden, Ashly, Gracie and Lani-Lou.
Mark is also survived by his brothers Steve Graham of Saucier, MS, Michael Graham (Marti) of Pensacola, FL and sisters Rebecca Graham of Cartersville, GA, Melonie Williams of Noxapater, MS and RoAnna Chenault (Arlan) of Gulfport, MS. He also leaves behind sisters-in-law Brenda Stover and Janice Andrus, both of Gulfport, MS.
He is preceded in death by his father Charles Winfred Graham, his brothers-in-law Jody Brown and Ronnie Andrus and sister in law Melinda Graham.
Mark will also be lovingly remembered by over 30 nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews, who will carry with them wonderful memories of the incredible man that he was.
Mark requested a celebration of life to be held, by family, in private. He asked that a formal ceremony not be held and that friends and family celebrate his life in a way that feels special to them.
Our beloved Marko, you will be missed terribly by so many, but we are at peace knowing you will be with our creator, no longer in pain, forever with that contagious smile, waiting on the other side.
We cannot wait for the day to be reunited once again.
