James Louis
Hall
May 11, 1943 — Aug 26, 2021
Gulfport
James Louis Hall, 78, was born May 11, 1943, to Mr. Williams "Bill" Hall and Mrs. Lelia Fairley Hall, in Wiggins, Mississippi. He was a lifelong resident of the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Mr. Hall transitioned from labor to rest, Thursday, August 26, 2021.
A graduate of Beaumont High School, Mr. Hall married Brenda Richmond of Wiggins, Mississippi and from this union they had two sons, Tracy and Terrance. He was a devoted member and trustee of Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Wiggins, Mississippi. Mr. Hall was a proud veteran of the United States Navy. After leaving service, he found success as a car salesman with the majority of his 30 year career being spent with Bert Allen Toyota.
Mr. Hall was indeed a God fearing man, who walked in the light of Christ. As the family reminisces they recall Mr. Hall's innate ability to draw people to him. He was an extremely social and genuine man who was known as much for his sharp wit as he was for his sharp style. When he wasn't tinkering on projects around the home, he could be found fishing at the pier or playing golf with friends.
The family of Mr. Hall considers themselves so blessed to have been able to share time and space with such an amazing man. While they are confident that he is resting in the arms of Christ, their prayer is that his life and legacy will prove to be a blessing to others.
He is preceded in death by his parents, William "Bill" Hall and Lelia Fairley Hall; his brother, Rev. Willie Hall; two sisters, Josie McMillon and Bestina Ellis; daughter, Bria Casey Hall.
Mr. Hall is survived by two sons, Tracy (Robin) Hall of Accokeek, MD, Terrance (Lisa) Hall of Laytonsville, MD; a daughter, Heidi Knight of Los Angeles, CA; two sisters, Voncile Brown, Billie Ruth Hall; devoted nephew, Raymos (Lori) McMillon of Gulfport, MS; companion, Joyce Casey of Gulfport, MS; four grandchildren, two great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
