Jamal Armond
Dedeaux
May 3, 1994 — Feb 26, 2025
Jamal Armond Dedeaux, born on May 3, 1994, to Joan Dedeaux and Jason Dedeaux, was raised in Delisle, Mississippi. He was a man of warmth, adventure, and unwavering devotion. His quiet strength and radiant smile could brighten any room, and his laughter was as contagious as the kindness he extended to others.
A proud 2012 graduate of Pass Christian High School, Jamal continued his education at MGCCC, earning his associate degree before serving four years in the United States Air Force. While his accomplishments were many, his greatest joy was his family. In 2017, he married his wife, Courtni, and together they built a beautiful family of seven. As a devoted husband and father, he was a guiding light, a source of strength, and the heart of their home. Every moment he spent with his loved ones was filled with warmth, laughter, and an unspoken promise that they would always be cherished. His love was not just felt—it was lived, in the way he supported, protected, and uplifted those who meant the most to him.
Jamal was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Douglas and Elizabeth "Mama Liz" Dedeaux; his paternal grandmother, Dorothy "Dot" Dedeaux; and his godfather, Emile "Cotton" Paschall.
He leaves behind a loving legacy carried on by his wife, Courtni, and their five children, Corbin, Cambri, Cienna, Calani, and Ceraya. He is also survived by his mother, Joan Dedeaux; his father, Jason (Lynn) Dedeaux; his grandfather, Adam Dedeaux Jr.; his siblings, Dolicia, Hillary (Joseph), Sacha, Brittany, and Keenan (Nicole); and his special extended family, Michael, Gabrielle, Alexis (Victoria), and Victoria. He is also remembered by his mother-in-law, Connie Derbigny; father-in-law, Clark Derbigny; sisters-in-law, Cayla and Carina; and godmother, Darlene Paschall.
Jamal's memory will be forever cherished by his two best friends, Brandon and Jacob, along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who were blessed to know him. His presence was a gift, and his impact will live on in the hearts of those he loved. Sent from Yahoo Mail for iPhone
