Gregory Doyle Moffett, 52, was born May 23, 1970, to the Mr. Doyle Moffett and Mrs. Betty Jean Spinks Moffett in Gulfport, Mississippi.  He was a lifelong resident of Pass Christian, Mississippi, where he was well known as a bartender and outstanding mechanic. Greg, as he was known to all who loved and knew him, departed this life on Tuesday, July 26, 2022.

Greg attended Pass Christian High School where he graduated with the Class of 1988. He would later further his education, receiving an Associate Degree from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. Greg was known to have a heart of Gold. He was the life of any party and will be remembered for the "Birthday" cookouts, that brought so many together for fellowship, laughter, good food and an overall great time. Greg has always loved helping people in any way that he could. He took pride in serving his community as a member of Mexican Gulf Lodge #64 Free and Accepted Masons in Pass Christian, MS.

Greg will be truly missed by those who knew him, yet they find joy in knowing that his work has spoken for him.

He is preceded in death by his father Doyle Moffett; mother, Betty Jean Spinks Moffett; two uncles, Larry Spinks, Terry Spinks; one aunt, Martha Pearl Smith.

Greg is survived by two daughters, Aaliyah (Ashlee) Sullivan, Hailey Moffett both of Gulfport, MS; one brother, Kevin Moffett of Pass Christian, MS; one sister, Mary (Daryl) "Cookie" Stockman of Marietta, GA; one uncle, Robert D. "Junior" Spinks of Oklahoma City, OK; four nieces, Christien (Will) Middleton of Grand Rapids, SD, Ariel (Lance Atkins Sr.) Moffett of Lacombe, LA, Alexandria (Matthew) Long of Long Beach, MS, Brianna (Utiv) Lindsey of Gulfport MS; a special cousin, Adiaha (Earl) Franklin of Pearland, TX and a host of other family and friends.
