Georgia "B.B." Owens was born in Chicago, Illinois on December 8, 1954. She entered Heaven's gates on September 29, 2022.
Georgia was predeceased by her father, Robert Randall, Sr., mother, Ethel I. Trim, and her two brothers Charles Trim Jr. and Willie Trim, and a sister Georgia Randall.
Georgia dedicated her life to being a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and friend through love, hope, and prayer. She was the foundation of our family, through and through. She was an excellent gift giver, always knew the right thing to say, and never missed a special date. Although small in stature, her spirit was as large as a skyscraper, and her love reached passed the depths of the sea. She dedicated her life to making people around her better. She never met a stranger, devoted to helping any person she had contact with, sharing kind words to uplift their spirits. Never the one who wanted anything in return, to her a smile was the most expensive gift you could bring her.
Georgia is survived by her husband Tommy L. Owens, her two sons Shawn L. Owens, Sr. (Sonya) of Gulfport, MS., and Tony J. Owens (Monique) of Houston, TX., two brothers, B.C. Trim of Ypsilanti, MI. and Robert Randall, Jr. of Flora, MS., and one sister, Millie Eastland of New York City, NY. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, Shawn, Sherrod, Shanisha, Shawndra, Savion, Javis, Na'kyra, and Trey and 10 great-grandchildren. She also has one bonus child, Betty Durr of Gulfport, MS. and lastly her super-human dog Bullet.
