Floyd Chester Magee was born April 2, 1962 in Gulfport, MS to Willie D. and Eva Nell Whitley of Gulfport, MS.

He was a graduate of Harrison Central High School in Lyman, MS. Floyd was a hard working and devoted son, father and grandfather. He spent most of his time sitting on his porch, scrapping metal and doing yard work. Most importantly, he loved to talk and reminisce about his family and friends.

Floyd Magee was preceded in death by his parents, Willie D. and Eva Nell Whitley; his brothers, Clifton Magee, Timothy Magee, Ernest Magee and Jerry Magee; his sisters; Annie Wood Dixon and Flossie Magee-Edwards; one niece, Cassandra Dixon and one nephew, Lawrence Magee.

On Tuesday, December 3, 2024 Floyd Magee was called home to be with the lord. He leaves to cherish his loving memories and is survived by his daughter, Ebony Moses of Gulfport, MS; one brother, Charles (Audrey) Magee of Cairo, GA; three sisters, Mary Jones of Detroit, MI, Shelby Mitchell and Jacquelyn Dixon of Gulfport, MS; four grandchildren: Ladarius, Jacari, Ja'Marion and Jayden Moses, and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, many cousins and friends.
