Mrs. Faye Megan Smith, 73, of Gulfport, departed this life Saturday, August 11th, 2018. Mrs. Smith moved to the Mississippi Gulf Coast in the early 90's after her husband's retirement from the United States Air Force. She is remembered as being a beautiful lady who loved life and everyone loved her. Mrs. Smith was an exquisite cook and found an indescribable pleasure in taking care of others. Her personality was one that would light up any room and her grace and style left those who met her captivated. Family and friend echo the sentiment that life was so enjoyable, simply knowing Mrs. Smith and she will be deeply missed by all those who knew her.

She was preceded in death by both parents, Mr. Claude Williams, Mrs. Iris Williams; a son, Richard V. Smith; and a sister, Elaine Finnegan.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her ever loving husband; Mr. Herschel J. Smith, Jr.; three sisters, Elizabeth "Betty" McFarlane, Patricia "Patsy" Williams, Maragret Williams; a brother, Bromley Williams and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
