Elijah Rashun Brooks was born on June 26, 1998 in Memphis, TN. He was a lifelong resident of the Mississippi Gulf Coast and entered into his eternal resting place on June 1. 2021. He graduated from Biloxi High School in 2016 and was an employee of Memorial Hospital. Elijah accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior and was baptized at First Missionary Church Handsboro. Though young, Elijah was a kind, generous and sympathetic man that impacted the lives of so many of his friends and peers.

He leaves to cherish his memory his father. Mark D. Brooks and mother. Tyia M. Brooks; two sisters, Mara D Brooks of Houston. TX and Kinshannta 0. Hall of Miami. FL. He is also survived by his paternal grandmother1 Ruby L Brooks of Senatobia, MS and maternal grandmother, Patricia A. Blocker of Biloxi1 MS: and is blessed to have a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends who will miss him greatly.

Sadly enough, the most painful goodbyes are the ones that are left unsaid and never explained. We are heartbroken at this loss but take comfort in the knowledge that Elijah loved us and knew he was loved. God's perfect will can be so unfathomable; we accept it and feel blessed that he allowed us to have Elijah for as long as we could. Thank you for your prayers and support during this most difficult time. We ask that you continue ta pray for us.
