Edna Davis was born on March 4, 1949 in Soso, MS to Mr. Lawrence Duckworth of Taylorville, MS and Mrs. Mandy Duckworth of Gulfport, MS. She entered into eternal rest on June 4, 2021.

Edna attended Harrison Central High School. She worked at the Grand Casino in the Housekeeping Department for several years. She enjoyed spending time with her 14 grandchildren, whom she reared from birth. She has now earned her wings and flew away to glory.

Edna was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents; two sisters, Edwina Agee and Edith Williams both of Gulfport, Mississippi.

She is surrived by two daughters, Khaliah Davis- Gulfport, Mississippi, Ingrid Davis- Kenner, Louisiana; three sons, Shun (Tara) Duckworth, George Davis- both of Gulfport, Mississippi, Paul Davis, Kenner, Louisiana; 14 grandchildren; three brothers, Elton Duckworth, Elnorsh Duckworth- both of Soso, Mississippi, and Elvin (Deliaha) Duckworth, Gulfport, Mississippi; one sister, Elieen (McClender) Pittman- Gulfport, Mississippi; Rev. George Davis, Kenneth, Missouri; and a host of family and friends.
