Dorothy Kelley, a lifelong resident of the Gulf Coast, passed away surrounded by her loving family. Dorothy was known for her love of fishing, crocheting, and making quilts. She also had a passion for cooking and was always willing to share her culinary talents with others. Dorothy was a devoted Jehovah's Witness who lived her life with faith and kindness.

Dorothy had a deep love for sports, especially wrestling, and enjoyed watching Western Shows like Bonanza and The Lone Ranger. She was a feisty and strong-willed woman who always spoke her mind and stood by her convictions. Dorothy had a heart of gold and was known for her generosity, always willing to help anyone in need and never hesitating to open her home to others.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her beloved spouse, Leno Kelley, and her son, Booker Kennedy. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Rich House, and Claudia Jones, as well as her sisters and brothers.

Dorothy is survived by her grandchildren, Frances(Kenny) Wilson, Booker T. Kennedy Jr., and Joseph E. Kennedy, her great-grandchildren, and a host of great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Dorothy will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched with her kindness and warmth.
