Donna Maria Perkins, born on September 20, 1999, at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, MS, to Roxie Ann Perkins and Donnie Ray Lashon Wright, passed away on December 17, 2023.

Donna spent her formative years in Gulfport, MS, alongside her six brothers. She worked in environmental services in the casino industry, where she was known for her dedication and hard work. A loving daughter, Donna was a true warrior and protector of her family, demonstrating a deep commitment to those she held dear. She cherished her family above all else, embodying a strong sense of family values.

She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents: Annie Ruth Perkins and Ebenezer Perkins and a host of great-uncles and aunts.

Donna is survived by her mother, Roxie Perkins; her father, Donnie Wright; her stepfather, Martell Holliday, her grandmother, Kimberly Carter; her grandfather, Hollis Thomas; eight brothers, Donnie Perkins, Adauris Wright, Jeremiah Perkins, Akeem Perkins, Nikel Perkins, Deqrion Wright, Xavier Perkins and O'Brian Peterson; three sisters, Miasha Peterson, Timya Wright and Nazaireth Owens, five aunts, Erica Carter, Elizabeth Carter, Lisa Perkins, Lisa Carter and Trisha Woods; two uncles, Jason Perkins and Corey Carter, and a host of relatives and friends. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
