Anderson Mingo
Apr 29, 1976 — Oct 25, 2019
Ridgeland
Connie Anderson-Mingo, a resident of Jackson, MS, earned her wings on October 25, 2019 at Baptist Medical Center. Connie was born in Greenville, MS on April 29, 1976, to Selena Anderson and Leroy Miller. Connie graduated from Gulfport High School. She earned a Bachelor's of Science in Health Care Administration and a Master's Degree in Public Health at her " Thee I Love " Jackson State University, in Jackson, Mississippi. Connie settled in Jackson, MS where she met and married Robbie Mingo as a result of this union, God blessed them with Brice. Connie was employed at Magnolia Health in Jackson, MS. Connie attended Mount Calvary Baptist Church.
Connie was preceded in death by her grandfather Johnny Lee Harris and paternal grandparents Frank and Edna Miller.
Connie was the daughter that a mother could count on; as a sister she was not the oldest but she would definitely act as if she was. Her love for her family was unwavering… her nieces were truly her heart. If you were blessed to have met Connie or developed a friendship with her, we know she left a lasting impression. Connie was that friend you definitely wanted to have. She is that friend that you grew up with and remained friends through adulthood. Maybe you met her at Jackson State University and if you did, you too remained friends… she was always excited about getting her besties together at Jackson State homecoming or planning a Girlfriend's Trip. She always had an option and was not afraid to share it.
Connie has left us all with a beautiful legacy to cherish. Cherishing her legacy she leaves her mother Selena Anderson; father Leroy (Linda) Miller, her only child Brice, (3) sisters Cherral (Brady) Tonth (Snellville, Ga); Sheretta Anderson (Gulfport, MS); Domonique Williams (Dallas, TX); (3) brothers Andrea Sanders (Minneapolis, MN) Ryan and Desmond Miller (Gary, IN); grandparents Cornelius & Verlean Tinzy (Gulfport, MS); Emma Harris (Rosedale, MS); (5) nieces Raven, Chelsea, Kennedi, Camryn and Jaza. (5) Godchildren Farrah Holmes, Zaylon Lewis, Joseph Perkins, Cameron Dishmon and Andre Nathaniel, Jr. Her caregivers Wiley & Clara Anderson and Kwan Lewis along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
