Mr. Clemont Paul "Bunky" Ashley, 65, of Pass Christian, Mississippi transitioned to his forever home on November 6, 2020 in Gulfport, Mississippi.

"Bunky" as he was so lovingly called, was raised in Pass Christian, Mississippi. He graduated from Pass Christian High School in 1973 and later joined the United States Air Force in 1977, where he served for several years. He went on to work as a Security Guard at LAX Airport in Los Angeles, California for many years until his retirement. After retiring he returned to Mississippi.

Bunky was raised in Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church as a child. When he returned to his home town of Pass Christian, Mississippi as an adult he joined Goodwill Missionary Baptist Church.

Bunky was a fun loving and care free man who loved to talk. Many times his family members would have to ask him to be quiet for a minute, even at dinner time. He loved watching westerns and sports but when he was not watching TV you could find him fishing or gardening and doing landscaping in his spare time.

He leaves his family with many happy memories that bring them much laughter. He had a smile that would brighten up any room.

Bunky was preceded in death by his father Thomas R. Ashley Jr. and mother Charles E. Saunders-Ashley.

He leaves to cherish his memories four sisters: Patricia Ashley-Stewart, Dwan Ashley, Thelma Ashley and Roselyn (George) Watson, two brothers: Peter(Liz) Ashley, and Michael Manuel, and a host of nieces, nephews and other family members.
