Charles William Hebert who affectionately known as "Yogi" was born January 11th, 1942 in Houma, Louisiana to the late Arthur and Justilia Hebert.

Mr. Charles was a resident of Gulfport, Mississippi for over 30 years. He was a member of Gulfport Bahai Faith until his passing.

After serving in the United States Marines for 20 years, Charles retired and opened as well as operated Golds Gym in Gulfport, Mississippi for many years. He enjoyed operating Golds Gym as he was an avid fitness specialist and trainer.

Mr. Charles was a very outspoken jokester who kept those around him laughing. He loved spending time with his family and friends and having a good time. His love and affection will be always cherished, and he will be mostly remembered on the Gulf Coast for working with local restaurants as chef support and food services.

He is preceded in death by his father, Arthur Hebert; his mother, Justilia Hotard Hebert; sisters, Helen Marcel, Norita Quatrevingt and Emelda Lirette; and one brother, Bryan Hebert.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Beverly Hebert; two daughters, Crystal (Barry) Clark, Deneen Hebert, of Gulfport, Mississippi; one son, Jamal (Kavita) Hebert, of Gulfport, Mississippi; one brother, Wayne (Evelyn) Hebert, of Houma, Louisiana; six grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
