Charles E. Johnson Jr. was born June 11, 1986 to Charles Johnson Sr. and Sharon Ann Marks Johnson. He passed away November 28, 2020 in Gulfport, Mississippi

He attended Gulfport High School and received his GED. He also attended Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College where he received a Welding certification and worked at the Port of Gulfport as a welder.

Outgoing is an understatement for Charles was a fun-loving and charismatic person who people often found themselves drawn to him. He kept those who encountered him laughing for he was full of joy. His favorite times were spent with his family, friends and especially his children. He often would be found putting his bet in and pressing his luck on various sports.

Charles was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Nellie Martin and his maternal grandfather, Argie (Sarah) Marks.

He is survived by his father, Charles Johnson, Sr.; his mother, Sharon Ann Marks Johnson; two daughters, Sumayah Taylor, Nova Taylor ; three sisters, Kimmonica ( Rhoderick) Fairley, De'Aqua Marks, Krystal Marks; three brothers, Ke'Andre (Ericka Browne) Marks, Fredrick Riley, JaQuan Johnson; two godsisters, Lillie Johnson, Catryna Martin; three godbrothers, Michael Lewis, Reynauldo Veal, Carlos Wright and a host of family and friends.
