Carolyn A. Swanier, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, was born on June 13, 1939, in Pass Christian. She was called home to rest after a life marked by love, quiet strength, and devoted service to others.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her beloved parents and her cherished son, Darryl J. Swanier.

She was united in marriage to Melvin R. Swanier, Sr., and together they built a family rooted in faith, perseverance, and deep love.

Carolyn received her education at Father Sweeny School and Eugene Carr High School in Kirkwood, Missouri, and completed her high school studies at Our Mother of Sorrows in Biloxi, MS.

For many years, Carolyn dedicated her working life in faithful service to Donald and Kathleen Theriot and their family, where she was deeply appreciated for her loyalty, kindness, and strong work ethic.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her loving children, Deanna (Labarron) Swanier, Debbie (Ronald) Robert, Melvin (Nicole) Swanier, Jr., and Tracy (Kelvis) Bankston; twelve treasured grandchildren; and nine adored great-grandchildren. Her legacy of love will continue to live on through each of them.

The family also wishes to acknowledge, with deep appreciation, Lisa Bradley, Carolyn's faithful hairstylist for 17 years, for her loving care, conversations, and the joy she brought to Carolyn's life.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Lynn Leatherwood, Dr. Richa Gupta, and Dr. Bassam Baoudi for their compassionate care and dedication.

Funeral services will be private and held with the immediate family.

Carolyn A. Swanier will be remembered for her gentle spirit, unwavering devotion to her family, and the quiet yet powerful impact she made on the lives of all who were blessed to know her.

Thank Father Rofinus Jas and Pastor Donald Garrett.
