Byron Charles
Darden
Oct 10, 1964 — Jun 14, 2022
Biloxi
The sun rose and shined brightly on October 10, 1964, the day of Byron Charles Darden's birth to parents Lillie Darden and Tommy Ware. His loving maternal grandparents, Charlie and Grace Darden, who deserve all accolades for his care and upbringing, adopted Bryon. He spent his childhood years in Pascagoula, Mississippi where he was baptized and attended Union Baptist Church. He built lifelong friendships and excelled in school. Byron's academic efforts led to him studying at the University of Mississippi. He later moved to Atlanta Georgia.
Byron is survived by his birth parents, Lillie D. Bender and Tommy Ware; two sisters, Danielle Davis-Polk, Tiffany Ware, and William R. Ware; and five children Dalvis, Jazmine, Quincy, Savanna, and Shawntell. His maternal grandparents, Charlie and Grace Darden, as well as his paternal grandmother, Idella Ware, and brother Reginald Essex preceded him in death. Byron leaves behind a multitude of close friends who became additional sisters and brothers and countless other friends whom he loved dearly. His infectious smile and sense of humor will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
The family wants to acknowledge and thank Byron's phenomenal friend and mentor, Rev. Anthony Williams of Atlanta Georgia. Rev. Williams interceded and drove Byron back home to his family and friends when he was physically unable to return home. Additionally, the family recognizes all the friends in Pascagoula and along the Gulf Coast for being a valued part of B's life. There are too many friends to name, but the following young men must be acknowledged for their lifetime of friendship and care for Byron: Darrel Joe, Eric Fox, and Norman Laster who created a wonderful and unsolicited video tribute to Byron for all of their Facebook friends and family.
Rest well B, you left us too soon; yet, we look forward to our great reunion in our Father's house in Heaven.
